As a multi-format journalist, I covered politics and breaking news in Washington and beyond. I shot and produced video and still photographs, delivered live shots from high-profile news events, such as the Inauguration of President Trump and President Carter’s funeral, and contributed to text stories, such as the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore and the 2025 crash between an American Airlines passenger jet and an Army helicopter near Reagan National Airport.
I earned an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Missouri in Columbia on a Fulbright scholarship and a B.A. in International Relations from Bilkent University in Turkey.
I am an FAA-certified drone pilot and a PADI-certified advanced scuba diver.
